Consistency is valuable. Production is even better. But when a player catches fire the way Brody Moore did this past week, he earns recognition.

The Springfield Cardinals' shortstop is The Cardinal Chronicle's Minor League Player of the Week after putting together one of the most complete offensive performances in the organization.

In just four games, Moore hit an eye-popping .538 (7-for-13) with a double, a home run, six RBIs, four runs scored, two walks, and two stolen bases. He also struck out only twice while posting a remarkable 1.446 OPS, the highest among Cardinals minor league hitters over the past seven days.

Moore impacted the game in every phase. He reached base consistently, drove the baseball with authority, created runs with his speed, and continued to provide steady defense up the middle for Springfield. His ability to blend contact, power, and athleticism made him the most productive hitter in the Cardinals' farm system this week.

While Moore takes home the honors, he certainly wasn't alone in producing standout performances.

Leo Bernal continued his outstanding season at Triple-A Memphis, batting .300 with two doubles, two home runs, and nine RBIs in five games. Bernal's offensive production has been one of the driving forces behind Memphis' lineup, and his ability to deliver in run-producing situations continues to strengthen his case as one of the organization's most polished offensive players.

At High-A Peoria, Jack Gurevitch also enjoyed a tremendous week, hitting .333 with two doubles, two home runs, six RBIs, and a 1.078 OPS. The first baseman continues to show an impressive combination of gap power and emerging home run pop while providing a consistent middle-of-the-order presence.

Several other hitters also turned in notable performances, including Springfield's Travis Honeyman, who posted a 1.014 OPS with two home runs, and Jesús Báez, who continued to drive the ball with authority while collecting seven hits during the week.

Competition for the weekly honor was strong across the Cardinals' system, but Moore's combination of elite contact, run production, power, speed, and efficiency at the plate separated him from an outstanding field of candidates.

For one week, no hitter in the Cardinals' organization was better.
