Spring roster shuffle sends several arms to the minors while Joshua Báez continues to generate buzz

The St. Louis Cardinals made another round of spring roster moves Monday as camp begins to narrow toward Opening Day decisions. The club reduced its spring roster to 46 players, with the headline move involving one of the most talked-about players in camp.

Joshua Báez, one of the sensations of the spring, was optioned to Class AAA Memphis despite hitting three home runs in three consecutive games.
