It was a mixed night across the Cardinals’ system.

Memphis continues to set the tone at the top, Palm Beach is quietly building something strong, while Springfield ran into a rough one and Peoria watched the weather win the night.

That’s the minor leagues—no two days look the same.

Memphis Redbirds (AAA)
12–4, 1st Place — International League West

Memphis just keeps stacking wins.

The Redbirds edged Gwinnett 4–3, and once again, Hunter Dobbins looked like a pitcher getting close to being ready.

5.0 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 4 K
Improved to 3–0 on rehab assignment
He’s stretched out, throwing strikes, and giving the organization something to think about.

At the plate, César Prieto continues to swing one of the hottest bats in the system, launching his fourth home run and pushing his OPS north of 1.000.

And behind the plate, a quiet note that matters—Memphis hasn’t lost a game with Jimmy Crooks calling it. That’s not accidental.

Springfield Cardinals (AA)
4–6, 4th Place — Texas League North

Springfield ran into a tough night in Wichita.

An early nine-run fourth inning from the Wind Surge blew the game open, leading to an 18–6 loss. The Cardinals did respond with a six-run inning of their own later, but the damage was already done.

The story here is simple:

Too much early damage.
Not enough pitching stability.

There were signs of life offensively—but at this level, you can’t chase games like that and expect to win.

Peoria Chiefs (High-A)
3–6, 6th Place — Midwest League

Mother Nature took this one.

Tuesday’s game was postponed due to severe weather, setting up a doubleheader on Wednesday with two seven-inning games.

Roster note to watch:

Anyelo Encarnación to the 7-day IL
Ian Petrutz returns to Peoria after rehab
Peoria hasn’t found its footing yet—but they’ll get a full day to reset and play catch-up.

Palm Beach Cardinals (Low-A)
8–2, 1st Place — Florida State League East

Quietly, Palm Beach might be putting together one of the more complete starts in the system.

A 3–0 win over Jupiter pushed them to 8–2, and it was driven by pitching.

Ty Van Dyke: 6.0 IP, 0 R
Dylan Drieesen: Scoreless save
Alex Bridge: Solo HR — all the offense needed
Van Dyke continues to build momentum after being named FSL Pitcher of the Week, and this staff is starting to take shape.

The System Snapshot
Memphis (12–4): Rolling and deep
Springfield (4–6): Searching for consistency
Peoria (3–6): Reset mode
Palm Beach (8–2): Pitching and winning

The Bottom Line
This is what a full system looks like.

Some clubs are winning.
Some are learning.
Some are adjusting on the fly.

And at the top—Memphis keeps producing players worth watching.
